The construction of the sweater follows that of the “English sleeve”.

The back will be worked up to the armhole, after which you will proceed to decrease for the armhole.

Finally, you will proceed by decreasing 1 st on every row (both from the right side and the wrong side) until all the stitches have been decreased.
At the same time also the neck will be shaped.

Once the back has been worked, you will proceed with the front which, after shaping the armholes, you will work up to the preferred size, casting off all the sts in a single row.

TENSION
22 sts x 29 rows over stocking stitch.

NEEDLES
3mm for cuffs and bottom band; 3,5mm for body and sleeves;
3mm circular needle for neck band.

FINISHING
Use invisible seam to join front and back of both shoulders.
Take your time to read the instructions carefully on those attached charts at the end of the pattern. Before setting in the sleeves, by pressing each piece of the garment, it may helps to locate the top of the shoulder correctly.

INDICAZIONI GENERALI

La costruzione del maglione segue quello della manica all’inglese.
Il dietro si lavorerà fino alla scalfo, dopo di che si procederà a diminuire per lo scalfo e il giro manica. Infine, si procederà diminuendo 1 m ad ogni ferro (sia sul diritto che sul rovescio del lavoro) fino ad aver diminuito tutte le maglie.
Contestualmente a questa chiusura si creerà anche l’arrotondamento dello scollo.

Una volta lavorato il dietro, si procederà con il davanti il quale, dopo sagomatura degli scalfi, si lavorerà fino a predefinita misura chiudendo tutte le m in un solo ferro.
