ERRATA: Day 5 pattern piece has been updated. There was a typo in the written directions in Round 2, after the stitch eyelet is created, it should read “knit 8” not “knit 9”. The chart for the day was correct. And in Round 3 is should read K9 instead of K8. And Round 7 should read “K1” at the end, not “K2”.
Errata in patterns in kit only: Day 10 there is no increase of total stitch count, the increase happens in Day 12 instead.

Update: this pattern is free until January 31, 2021. A note about gauge: highly flexible! Use a needle that gives you the fabric you want, if your gauge is too tight for working on a 16 inch circular, you can use a 12 inch, DPNs, or Magic Loop.

From the 25th of December to the 5th of January, we will release a piece of the pattern with each day being a different stitch designed to accent the colors in our kit. The pattern will be for a tubular scarf that can also be seamed to create a cowl.

Info on the kit:
Themed after the song “Twelve Days of Christmas”, our kit will include 12 mini skeins of fingering weight yarn. Each day will be assigned a color based on the song (they’ll be speckled, tonal, or solid). With each new mini, we will add a new color to the previous days’ colors. As each day passes, the new mini will have more stripes than the day before! So, Day 1 will have 1 “stripe”… all the way to Day 12 with 12 stripes!

Each mini skein will be 20 grams, for a total of 240 grams of yarn in the kit. The minis will be individually wrapped to make them fun little gifts each day. Oh… and we’ll add in a cute little stitch marker for each day too. Each day’s pattern will also be included in the kit.
