This unique pineapple sack is a double whammy- not only does the baby become the pineapple, but the cocoon is constructed from a repeating pineapple motif.

The pattern is written for newborn size, but instructions are included to make the cocoon wider and taller (it’s easy).

The difficulty level is advanced beginner. The more difficult stitches required include beginning double crochet decrease and foundation chain stitches. But don’t worry- this pattern comes with links to my video tutorials so I will step you through the stitches you need to know. If you don’t know the foundation chain stitch already, you will after this!
This pattern also comes with photos and a stitch diagram, for those of you who are more visual learners.
