Twiddlemuff

Discontinued.
This digital pattern is no longer available online.
This is a basic pattern / tutorial for making a crochet twiddlemuff, which is a sensory accessory for people with dementia and Alzheimers. It provides tactile stimulation for restless hands, and warmth for cold fingers.
As there are no set rules/ patterns for making a twiddlemuff, this pattern is more of a guideline, although I have given specific pattern instructions for the ones pictured.
You can use up lots of scrap yarn, a huge range of embellishments - just have fun and let your creativity run riot!
