This cuddly pink piggy would make a lovely toy, or an ornament to cheer up your bookshelf. This simple knitting pattern uses only uses a few basic stitches: knit, purl, a k2tog decrease and a kfb increase. Designed by Amanda Berry @fluffandfuzz, the piglet is knitted in acrylic DK yarns on single pointed needles (not in the round).

NEEDLES
A pair of 3.75mm straight single pointed knitting needles (US 5)

RECOMMENDED YARN
Sirdar Hayfield Bonus DK; double knitting/light worsted weight; 100% acrylic; one 100g/280m skein in pink.

NOTIONS
Tapestry needle, toy filling, scraps of white and pink felt fabric and beads for eyes.

SIZES
One size only - 12cm wide x 13cm tall.

For confident beginners and above, other techniques used include casting on and off, knits, purls, increases and decreases, and seaming to finish.
