Twigs and Diamonds revised
This easy scarf pattern incorporates a couple of fun designs that appear as a complex project, but don’t let it fool you. It’s easy, fast and the hardest stitch is a knit 3 together, it only looks hard. What a perfect project to give as a gift or the weekend project pick-me-up.
You will be working with 33 stitches and a 12 row pattern repeat. Materials include size #8 needles, about 300 yds. of DK weight yarn and a stitch marker. The Parchment color example I’ve given is a 80% merino and 20% angora yarn, therefore it has blocked very well. Added under this pattern you will notice I have another example using a grey 100 % acrylic yarn and size #4 Needles, you can see the difference between blocking with wool and not.
Both are great projects, it’s just where your preference lays.
