I thought about this detail and wondered what kind of sock would she have used for this. So I thought that maybe Grandma Maria, Gran (From Dream sequence New Moon) knitted her a set of socks when she was little. The other long since unraveled or missplaced, this one she could not part with, so she decided to use it for holding her money.

So I have decided on making a plain sock and add a childish detail to it. A Swan, of course!

Okay, I have completed my Toddler small sock using US#6 and worsted weight yarn and got a sock big enough to fit my women’s size 11’s LOL.

This was my first sock ever so I wanted to be able to see everything clearly, especially the short row heel and toe. Now that I am no longer intimidated by the knitting of a sock. I am going to buy some sock yarn. I think I will make a child size knee high sock (so it can be knotted at the top) and then add the swan for the completed Bella Swan money sock.
