Finished Measurements: Approximately 10 x 60” (25.5 x 152.5cm) after blocking.
Yarn: #1 super fine
- 400-600 yds (366-549m) laceweight to fingering weight
- 1 cone Jaggerspun Zephyr 218 Wool-Silk, 1 lb (.45kg) cones, each approximately 5040 yds (4609m), 50% merino wool, 50% Chinese tussah silk, Marine Blue.
Needles and Notions:
- US size 5 (3.75mm) knitting needles or size needed to obtain gauge.
- Tapestry needle
Note: The garter ridge dividing the repeats of the lace can be worked in a contrasting yarn, by way of a contrast color or even in a contrasting weight, as shown in the handspun scarf version here. The choice of yarns greatly affects gauge with this pattern. Swatch to get a feel for how open you want your Twilight lace to appear.
