The shawl boasts a delicate dance of cables, reminiscent of winding forest paths, intricately woven through its fabric. This cable motif, adorning the body of the shawl, seamlessly transitions into a lace pattern, reminiscent of the delicate foliage found in the quiet corners of the woods. With inclusivity in mind, Twilight Trails comes in three sizes, ensuring a perfect fit for everyone. The pattern instructions cater to various preferences, including written directions, charted diagrams, and a helpful schematic.

Crafted in a heart-shaped design, the shawl showcases a mesmerizing cable motif that meanders through the body, ultimately culminating in an elegant lace motif. The top-down construction ensures a seamless knitting process, allowing you to immerse yourself in the beauty of the pattern.

For my sample, I’ve chosen a self-striping shawl yarn for the main body (cabled portion) of the shawl. However, if a self-striping yarn isn’t at your fingertips, fear not! You can conjure the same mesmerizing effect using leftover yarn or mini skeins, expertly joined together with the magical Russian Join to create your captivating striping illusion.

GAUGE
24 stitches by 36 rows in the pattern motif = 4” / 10 cm, after blocking. While gauge is not important, as the fit is not crucial, changes in gauge will result in size differences and the yardage required to complete the project.
