Twine Cowl
Combine triangle shawl techniques for a tapered tube-shaped cowl! The patchwork look lends itself well to partial skeins and scraps,
I-cord and faux seams finish and highlight the different sections of this multi-directional cowl. The .PDF features instructions for the cowl, numbered steps (this design breaks down into steps in a neat way that’s useful for layout, but they’re all fairly simple), and a pretty ridiculous amount of links.
This concept expands on the Alfa cowl design.
Yarn requirements are minimal: show off your scraps, or use a single skein of fancy yarn at around 440 yds. (Probably avoid using a small contrasting scrap on that second-to-last I-cord, though.)
Gauge:
Gauge is 24 sts and 48 rows over 4”/10cm in blocked garter stitch, worked flat. Please be sure to check your gauge.
