Twinkle and Spark Cowl
The Twinkle and Spark Cowl is inspired by twinkly lights and fireworks around the festive season and New Year’s Eve. This simple cowl embraces the little things which bring joy at this time of year.
The pattern is written for three different yarn weights: Fingering, Sport and DK weight and was designed with hand spun yarns in mind. As a spinner, it can be difficult to predict what weight of yarn you will create, and so this pattern is one you can turn to no matter what weight of yarn you have.
A video tutorial is included within the pattern for the detailed stitches.
Yarn:
The pattern uses approximately 100g of yarn in either Fingering, Sport or DK weight and is designed to be easily adjustable:
- Fingering weight: approx 400yds / 365m per 100g
- Sport weight: approx 328yds / 300m per 100g
- DK weight: approx 246yds / 225m per 100g The sample shown uses sport weight hand spun yarn created from 100% Polwarth fibre by Witchcrafty Lady.
