Twinkle and Sparky are a quick to knit pair of elves to decorate your home at Christmas time. Both mostly follow the same pattern, using different colours and with two different hats, and Twinkle the green elf has a knitted skirt. Designed by Amanda Berry @fluffandfuzz, the toys are knitted in acrylic DK yarns on single pointed needles (not in the round).

NEEDLES
A pair of 3.25mm single pointed knitting needles (US 3)

RECOMMENDED YARN
Paintbox Yarns Simply DK; double knitting/light worsted weight; 100% acrylic; up to 25g in each colour.

NOTIONS
Tapestry needle, toy filling, and beads for eyes.

SIZES
One size only - 13cm tall.

TECHNIQUES
For confident beginners and above, other techniques used include casting on and off, knits, purls, increases and decreases, and seaming to finish.
