Twinkling Lights Poncho
This pattern was designed for Chicago Yarn Crawl 2018! Visit Idea Studio in La Grange, IL from July 28th to August 5th, 2018 to receive this pattern for free!
Pattern Notes:
Enjoy a laid-back summer evening with this poncho draped over your shoulders. The yarns are suited for warmer weather and drape beautifully at a larger gauge. The tweedy flecks mimic stars peeking out after sunset and paired with garter stitch create a depth of texture.
You can wear this garment like a shawl with the side seam down your shoulder, or like a poncho with the seam in front or back. If you add screw-in buttons, you can form armholes for a more polished look!
This project is great easy knitting that you can work on during your summer road trips, lying on the beach, or chilling in the movie theater. Just one short seam and minimal finishing make this a quick knit!
