This beanie is perfect for very cold weather; it has a double layer of Merino Aran.

The inner beanie is snug for warmth, knitted in stocking stitch. The outer beanie is slouchy to trap more warmth between the two layers and knitted in double moss stitch.

The inner beanie is knitted first. Once the outer beanie is also done, the two beanies are joined at the bottom when the stitches for the ribbing are picked up. The faux fur pompom joins the two beanies together at the top.

The end result is a thick and warm beanie, perfect to venture outdoors in cold weather.
