Using a combination of fun cables and simple ribbing, this unisex hat was designed to make a big impact. The large cables look dramatic, but are easy to memorize and knit. The squishy ribbing gives this hat a flexible fit, so that it is perfect for gift knitting. The cables are placed slightly differently on the sides than on the front and the back. When the cables meet at the crown, they create a surprising flower motif. So, look up, look down, then twirl away, because this hat is fun from every angle.

The Twirl Away hat is knit seamlessly from the bottom up in the round. The pattern is charted and includes written instructions. This pattern also includes instructions for adjusting the length of the hat to personalize the fit.
