It takes just a few hours to crochet this simple and lovely scarf/neck accessory.

My Twirlie scarf is crocheted using a 5.5 mm hook and 85g of Kauni 8/2 Sport/5 ply wool yarn (344m/376 yards) and is unblocked. Finished size is 9 cm (3.5 inches) wide x 147.5 cm (58 inches long).

Yarn: Sport (5 ply), DK (8 ply), Aran (10 ply), Bulky (12 ply) yarn or handspun.

Hook: 5.00 mm (I) to 6.50 mm (K), depending on the weight and type of yarn. Make a little swatch. Use a bigger hook for a lacy piece.
