This roll-brim hat is knitted on a standard gauge knitting machine (4.5mm). The sections are shaped like crescents using the short-row method. It comes to a point at the crown, and can be finished off with any sort of fluffy delight you choose.

A color changer is very nearly a necessity for the stripe version. It can be done without one, but it would quickly become tedious.

There is also a 3-color version, which only requires changing yarns between sections.

You are absolutely allowed to knit these hats to sell in smallish quantities, but please do not sell or share the pattern.
