Simple Cable Headband for Beginners Knitting Pattern (pdf digital download)

’A simple, quick-to-knit, headband with central cable and garter stitch border’

There are instructions for three different widths:

small: 6.5cm wide (pictured in WI Premium Acrylic DK in Teal)
medium: 7.5cm wide (pictured in Rowan Alpaca DK in Blue)
large: 8.5cm wide (pictured in Mariner Acrylic DK in Beige).

MATERIALS
1 50g ball of any double-knitting wool
A pair of 4mm needles and an additional 3.75mm or 4mm needle to use as a cable needle
A tapestry needle

MEASUREMENTS
The headband can be made to any length, with a headband that fits a small adult being between 20 and 21 inches.

TENSION
22sts and 30 rows over 10cm using 4mm needles in stocking stitch.
