Simple slipper boots with twisted cables running up the sides of the ankle. You can customize the size of these boots pretty easily, either by using a store-bought slipper as the base (I’ve also seen people use flip-flops as the bottoms of their slippers), or you can make your own slipper bottoms in one of three provided sizes: narrow, regular, and wide.
I used 2 skeins of Loops and Threads Charisma for my slipper boots, but if you made them shorter you might only need 1 skein. You’ll also need some worsted or aran weight yarn if you’re using a store-bought slipper, to sew a foundation row around the slipper bottom and to create loops for your bulky weight yarn. If you’re doing that, you’ll also need something sharp, like a sharp yarn needle, to poke holes around the base of your slipper.
