I wanted to start knitting cables, so I decided to make a scarf based around a twisted cable that I found in Teach Yourself Visually Knitting by Sharon Turner
This twisted cable is worked across 6 stitches, the book’s pattern had you frame the cable with 6 purls (on the right side), I reduced it to 3 stitches on each side, and I used the seed stitch to frame the scarf.
