This pattern gives written directions for 3 different variations of fingerless mitts. The cuff, thumb gusset and end ribbing are the same for all the mitts - you choose which pattern you want on the back of the mitt. The choices are plain, simple twist and double twist. The length of the mitt is 6 1/2 inches long as the pattern is written. It can easily be made longer. The purple samples in the pictures were knit with Ella rae Classic Sport. One skein of the Ella rae made one pair with at least 15yd left over.

The plain version and simple twist version use twisted stitches, however the the double twist pattern will require the use of a cable needle. The cuff and end ribbing use twisted stitches on all the versions. These are very simple patterns that can easily be memorized.

Errata: Second step in Left Twist should read: Then knit the first stitch on the LeftNeedle.
