The Twisted Flower Bag is a roomy bag which consists of four sides. The relief image on the sides depicts flowers. The sides are crocheted together in a particularly twisted way, hence the name: Twisted Flower Bag

The bag is made in interlocking crochet, a technique that consists of two crochet parts in different colors (relief color and background color) which are interlinked and thereby they form the relief image. The handles are crocheted spiral straps. You can choose to attach the straps with 15 mm D rings (you need 4) or just sew them directly on the bag.

Skill level
You need some basic crochet skills to become familiar with the technique, but when you get it, it is actually just a whole lot of double and tripple crochets!

DIMENSIONS
The final size of the bag depends on the chosen yarn and crochet hook size. There are two suggestions for yarn and hook in the pattern (see below), which result in two sizes with a height of approx. 45 cm or 35 cm.

The height of the bag (45 / 35 cm.) is measured where the bag is highest from the top tip without the handle to the ‘flat bottom’.

The square bottom of the bag measures approx. 36x36 / 23x23 cm.

The four sides each measure approx. 18x58 / 15.5x48 cm

The straps are approx. 60 / 40 cm long.

Windows
Interlocking crochet is also measured in windows. The four sides measures (no matter the size) 20 x 60 windows.
