Looking for a pair of socks with a little something extra? The mock cables on the front and lace panel on the back of these socks add a little extra interest, while still being fairly simple to work up.

Do you also like working your socks toe-up, but find that short row or afterthought heels don’t quite fit you right? These socks have a flap and gusset construction that will help the heels stay in place.

This is an intermediate pattern, but I’ve included some resources below for adventurous beginners or if you need a refresh on some of the skills used.

Testing

All sizes have been test knitted - the medium size by me and the small and large sizes by volunteer test knitters.
