Twisted Peach Cowl
The Twisted Peach Cowl was inspired by James and the Giant Peach. It’s delightfully twisted in the best way and every time things seem to be going smoothly, there’s a twist that makes things interesting again. It’s the perfect combination of mindless and interesting!
The cowl is perfect for when you have a small skein of something truly decadent - it can be made to any size to ensure you get the most out of your skein, and it fits close to the neck for a super cozy accessory. The pattern also includes adjustment notes so you can make the cowl longer or shorter, narrower or wider, and add more textured columns.

Yarn, Yardage, and Colors
The pattern is adjustable and can be made to work with almost any yardage - just work the repeats until you finish the yarn. Size will vary based on gauge and yardage. If you have less than 190yds/52g, you may want to make the cowl slightly narrower so that it’s long enough to fit comfortable.
The pattern works well in almost any weight, from lace to bulky. Yardage recommendations will vary by weight. The texture in the pattern will be less visible in a variegated yarn, but the pattern looks amazing in a solid, tonal, self-striping, or gradient.
Size
When gauge is met, the cowl measures 8.25”/21cm wide. 190yds/52g of sport weight will net a cowl that is 21.25”/54cm long, 365yds/100g of sport weight will net a cowl that is 40.75”/103.5cm long. Length can be customized by working extra/fewer repeats. Width can be adjusted by following the pattern notes.
Customizations
Make the pattern wider or narrower, longer or shorter, and add textured stripes.
