I used hand dyed yarn for mine. But you can use any yarn you like that meets the gauge. The pattern has approximately 4-6inches of ease. I have given finished size guide in the pattern too. Remember that the back will narrow due to the cabling. But it will stretch nicely give it a kind of fitted look.

The front is designed cropped. But you can always add length. I have tried to say when to do this.
