The “Twisted Puff” is a messy bun beanie design very similar to my “Women’s Irish Pride Beanie”. It uses the same textured puff stitch worked in the round. This beanie is great in one solid color, two toned like pictured with variegated yarn and solid, or two toned with two solid color yarns. It is worked from the bottom up and is able to be made longer by following the ( ) in the pattern. The pictured beanie follows the pattern and is made to be a short fitted beanie.

Stitches used:
Ch, Sl st, Hdc, Fpdc, Bpdc, Hdc dec, Puff st, Puff dec

Yarn colors pictured are:
Red Heart Super Saver in Warm Brown and Cherry Chip.
Cherry Chip may be discontinued, but there is also Cherry Cola.

You may also take your pick of variegated yarn or just go with solid colors. Since Cherry Chip is slightly thinner than other RHSS yarns, follow the note in the pattern for the puff st.
