This pattern shows you how to knit your own chunky, twisted stitch hat. The hat pictured and the instructions are for an 18” (46cm) hat. The pattern can easily be expanded or reduced to fit a larger or smaller size.

The hat is knit in the round using a circular and dpns and uses slipped stitches to create a subtle ribbed design. The finished hat is very dense, the chunky wool and the ribbed pattern made for a close textured hat with a little stretch.

I used 3 balls of Cygnet Seriously Chunky wool which made the hat and a pompom.
