This is a pretty cabled cowl that is quick to make and warm on a cold winter walk. Two different cable styles travel vertically to decorate the cowl between purl bands.

This cowl fits closely, almost like a turtleneck, to keep your neck toasty. The pattern is a repeat of 30 stitches, so if you’d like to make it wider, you can easily add more repeats, or go up a needle size with slightly thicker yarn.

The yarn used in this cowl is Blackwattle Alpaca Yarns and Fibre Waratah Naturals in Graphite, which is lovely and soft. You can find this yarn at our shop, Fairlight Fibers. Any fingering-weight yarn will work for this pattern.
