This shrug is basically a moebius cowl with armholes. The possiblities to wear it are endless; you will never want to put it off again!
Wrap it twice around your head or neck as a hood or cowl on a chilly morning. Loosely drape it around your neck for a little stylish warmth in a drafty office during the day. And when going out at night, use it as an elegant shrug over a sleeveless dress or gown.
The shrug is worked flat in one piece from the center back to the front and back again. The twist comes right before joining beginning to end in the center back. The piece, including the simple lace pattern, is completely reversible – making this a go to item when you need to grab something chic and simple for that little bit of extra warmth. Worked in laceweight yarn the lightweight piece will be an invaluable companion when travelling.

YARN: laceweight (#0 Lace) or light fingering
(#1 Super Fine) for more warmth.
You will need ca. 370 450, 500, 550, 660, 720,
780
m of lace yarn (possibly a little more when
using a heavier weight yarn)

You will most likely need a smaller needle to get gauge with fingering weight yarn or switch to smaller size if you like the fabric with larger needles.

One additional note: Make sure to bind off the stitches for the armholes really loosely! :)
