This cabled hat and cowl is a great introduction to simple yet pretty cables. It is inspired by the spires that often top churches

Pattern is worked in a 2x2 rib from the bottom up that morphs into the cables. The hat pattern comes in four sizes and the cowl pattern comes in a short or long cowl. There is also instruction included on how to modify to a child size cowl. This is a written pattern.
