Worsted or DK weight yarn can be used. Worsted yarn will produce an adult medium/ large beanie. DK yarn will produce an adult small beanie. Adjustments for length are included in the pattern and the final beanie can have a snug fit or a slouchy fit. The pattern is based on multiples of 12 so the hat width can be adjusted by using more or less repeats. The cable needle was placed in front of the work for the original pattern but the hat has been knit with the cable placed behind or to the back of work as well.
