I made these fingerless mitts on a not-too-long car ride last winter and was able to wear them when I arrived at our destination! For this quick and easy project all you need is one skein of our bulky merino and some dpns. After the mitts, you’ll still have enough yarn left to make a headband if you like. Both pieces start with two by two ribbing, move into a few ribbed cable twists, and end with the simple rib. Take off the chill and have instant gratification with this totally portable little project.
