Twister ice lolly crochet pattern PDF, not a finished item, English (US) crochet terms

Based on the classic UK Twister ice lolly, approximately life size (17cm length)

Suitable for advanced beginners due to frequent colour changes. Techniques used are:

• Chain
• Single crochet
• Increase
• Invisible decrease
• Slip stitch
• Back loop only crochet
• Colour changes
• Magic ring (optional, but will produce better results)

Materials required:

• 3.5mm crochet hook
• DK weight yarn (red, white, green, beige)
• Yarn needle
• Soft stuffing
• Lolly/popsicle stick 11cm x 1cm
• (Optional) Approx 5cm x 5cm cardboard
• (Optional) Drill with 2mm drill bit, or craft knife
