This pattern is for the versatile Twisty Bea, which can be worn as a neck warmer/ snood, a headband, bunched up or stretched out.
Rather good as a warm layer for your head / ears, under a cycling helmet too.
It’s a rustic and versatile pattern that can bring different yarns alive, especially showcasing single or double ply homespun yarns (15 wpi) as the body twists and bends with them. Either way I recommend you start with a yarn you like to have next to your face.
I have enjoyed making these in different yarns and colours as its a quick knit creation.
There are so many ways to wear it that I rarely take it off, enjoying as an addition between a hat and scarf on many a cold day.
Smooth Knitting and enjoy your Twisty Bea.
