This owl uses simple increases and decreases for shaping, and flecked variegated yarns to avoid any complicated colour-work as the yarn does all the hard work for you!

Designed by Amanda Berry @fluffandfuzz, the owl is knitted in acrylic DK yarns on single pointed needles (not in the round). The DPNs are used to work i-cord tubes for the talon claws and eyebrows.

NEEDLES
A pair each of 4mm single pointed knitting needles and DPNs (US 6).

RECOMMENDED YARN
Sirdar Hayfield Bonus DK; double knitting/light worsted weight; 100% acrylic; less than a 100g/280m skein in each colour.


NOTIONS
Tapestry needle, toy filling, and stitch markers.

One size only - The owl is 27cm tall.
