Two By Two Striped Cowl
We have retired this yarn, but the pattern is still available! Please email us at contact@churchmouseyarns.com for a copy!
The stripey simplicity of this cowl is the perfect canvas for fascinating textures and striking color combinations! A free pattern, the Two by Two Striped Cowl is knit in two-row stripes in two colors—easy. And we’ve discovered that we like wearing the ‘wrong side’ out as much as the ‘right side’!
We knit the Two by Two Striped Cowl in two colors of Flette Bulky, a dynamically textured yarn from Woolfolk. One lofty strand is ruched, spiral-like, onto a single fine thread for a plump bouclé effect. The nubbly texture gives an extra dimension to those simple stripes. And you’ll have enough yarn left over to knit a second cowl with your colors reversed!
