This is a quick project for advanced knitters and a relatively straightforward project for advanced beginners who want to try knitting cables.

This uses a little less than one skein of Hikoo Zumie or two skeins of Plymouth Encore Mega.

The super bulky yarn makes it a quick knit while the cables - one in front and one in back - add visual interest without being too complex. I made this over the course of two days a few hours at a time, so it makes a fast gift, especially with the holidays approaching!

The cowl comes in one size with a 20 inch circumference and is about 10.5” long. To me, this is a good width without being too tight or too loose - important during Minnesota winters! - and long enough that you can pull it over your nose and mouth without leaving your neck out in the cold.

This is my first pattern and I would love any feedback you have to make it better! Thanks for checking it out!
