As written the completed bag is 10” (25cm) wide across the bottom, 9”(22.5cm) wide across the top, 8” (20cm) tall and opens approximately 5”(12.5cm) deep. The handles are about 8”(20cm) above the top of bag and are set approximately 6.5”(16cm) apart on front of bag.

Pattern uses two flat yarns (ribbon, tshirt, tape, fettucine, zpagetti, etc.) to create a beautiful flat stitch tote with woven texture. The bag is made with a pre-made oval purse base, two pre-made straps and a double-ended crochet hook. The double-ended hook allows us to create the flat stitch that is reminiscent of a Gobelin stitch in needlepoint or a Full Stitch in Tunisian Crochet. You do not need to know Tunisian crochet to be able to do this Tunisian crochet inspired stitch. A video demonstrating the stitch is provided within the pattern.
