Two-Color Mermaid Tail Blanket Knitting Pattern for Children and Adults

This is a BEAUTIFUL 2-color slip stitch pattern, with no loops on the wrong side to snag your toes!

The stitch pattern develops over 8 rows.
A grid is included for checking off the rows as you knit them.
The instructions are very thorough, and there is an entire page of tutorial pictures.

Sizes included:

3 to 5 years
6 to 7 years
8 to 11 years
12 to 14 years
14 to 16 years
Adult Ladies Small, Medium, Large and Extra Large.

Two strands of medium yarn are held together, for quick knitting and a good blanket thickness. One strand of chunky yarn may be substituted, but you may have to play around with needle size, and yarn quantities may vary.

A small amount of 1/2-inch upholstery foam is needed for the fin.

IMPORTANT: This pattern is considerably more difficult than my one-color pattern. If you are not a confident or adventurous knitter, you may prefer that one.

The fin is knitted on. It can be used with my other pattern, if you like this fin better.
