Before starting either of these patterns: Know that these patterns make large dolls, so they will take a while to make. Having a row counter will make following the pattern a lot easier. You may have to make multiple limbs in order to make them look the same size.
While you are making Clown Jojo: I would not suggest following the steps for Clown Jojo’s hair because it is really time consuming, and the hair has a tendency to fall out: I would instead look at other ways to attach hair to crochet dolls. The way the legs attach to the torso is a bit awkward, know that you aren’t doing anything wrong. If you don’t sew the overalls onto the body of the clown, you can make multiple pairs and dress him up.
