Two Faces of Echo Scarf
When I was making this scarf, I had no idea it had two very different sides to it until it fell off the couch and I noticed that the back was different from the front! You’ve heard of The Two Faces of Eve? Well, this is The Two Faces of Echo!
This pattern is easily adjustable to make a scarf in any length you please. To make the scarf as shown in the picture requires 2 skeins of Red Heart Boutique Unforgettable in Echo and a size H crochet hook. Be sure when working this pattern to keep your tension the same! The pattern requires working in the front loops and back loops only and with this yarn - if tension isn’t consistent - you could end up with a very wonky end result. Keeping your tension consistent is imperative in all your projects no matter which type or brand of yarn you may be using!

NOTED DECEMBER 17, 2018 - If anyone is having trouble with the repeat of the pattern this simple fix brought to my attention may help:
“This pattern is really attractive! I wanted to check in with you about the instructions. My sister, a beginner crocheter, was having a difficult time with it and when I went to check it for her, I noticed that the asterisk marking the beginning of the repeat seems to be in the wrong place: I think it should include the “skip 2 stitches” in the beginning of the repeat sequence? Otherwise, the number of stitches just keeps increasing. Or maybe I’m reading it wrong, but it seems to be working for her now.”
Thank you to Karen Burns for noticing and alerting me of a potential issue with the pattern.
