Two little ducks went running one day … was a 22km fun run from Duck Bay, along the west bank of Loch Lomond to Luss, and back. I was the event organiser (and one of only two competitors) and I designed these two little ducks medal/badges for taking part!

I’m hoping two little ducks will be an annual event and have decided that each year the medal will be a different duck; this year it’s the mallard!

Apart from the beak and wing, the ducks are worked in the round from bottom to top. Only basic skills are required including SC and HDC, increasing, decreasing and slip stitching (US Crochet Terms). The tutorial gives full instructions as well as images and details for all the materials I used, but send a message if you’d like to know more before you begin.
