Two of us v2
----------- Version 2: seamless ----------
There are two basic ideas behind this design:
Use up leftovers (Two yarns)
The first idea is to create a tunic/ sweater which allows you to use up beloved yarns in insufficient quantities, and leftovers. Use two, three or even four or more colors in the stripy parts and configure stripes freely. Mix and match materials, as long as the gauge is the same!
Decide on how you work the sleeve cap
(Two different techniques for shaping/ joining the sleeve cap)
The second idea is that, although the tunic is knitted bottom-up (first in pieces, body and sleeves, both in the round), with version 2 of the pattern, you will get the chance to join the parts and knit everything in one piece, but not as a standard Raglan, but with real sleeve caps.
You will need 1000-1600 meters of light fingering yarn in (at least) two colors.
I recommend “Das Regenbogenschaf Pinta”, but any light fingering yarn will work and this design even encourages unlikely yarn combinations like the pure linen combined with sock yarn stripes in the red/ gold sample.
The yarn company of one of the suggested yarns has recently changed its name: from Regenbogenschaf to SKUDDERIA.
Bust width ranges from 80 - 110 cm (31,5 - 43 inches), sizes available are XS - XXL.
There are two versions of this pattern
Version 1: the free one which is partly seamed (body and sleeves are both knitted in the round, but separately)

Version 2: completely seamless, botton up, with sleeves caps which are worked at the same time as the body with the help of short rows.
This is the pattern version (v2) for sale which includes both variants, the seamless sleeve cap as well as the traditional approach with sewing.
