Gauge for smooth part:

Recommended yarn:
For smooth part: 328yds/300m of DK yarn for the sample and the smooth part of the scarf. I use Italian yarn LANA GATTO SUPER SOFT – 100% merino wool. One skein of yarn is 50g/125m (1,76oz/137yds). Weight DK (11wpi). My color – 20206, lot - 91175.

For fluffy part: 273yds/250m of Aran yarn for the sample and the fluffy part of the scarf. I use German yarn KREMKE ALPAKA BOUCLE – 89% Alpaca and 11% Polyamide. One skein of yarn is 50g/250m (1,76oz/273yds). Weight Aran (8wpi). My color – с970.

Using other yarn and knitting needles won’t be an issue too, because, in this lesson, I give you an algorithm on how to work with samples and make calculations for your gauge.
