Two Sisters hat features a squishy lace pattern perfect for those less than cold winter days we are so familiar with in the South, or a lighter hat when the weather is just changing. The hat uses the Two Sisters and Some Yarn Set from Sweet Mountain Crafts, named for the podcast of the same name. There is a matching fingerless mitt pattern available.

Finished Size: 18” around unstretched, up to 26” stretched, 8” tall (easily adjustable)

Yarn: Sweet Mountain Crafts Scree Sock, 80% Superwash Merino/20% Nylon, 389 yards/100g. Sample knit Two Sisters and Some Yarn set, which includes a full skein of the main color and two minis (purple and aqua) each 78 yards/20g. Hat in total used 190 yards; approximately 158 main color, and 16 of each of the others.

Needles: Set of 5 double-pointed needles or 16” circular needles, size 3 US (3.25 mm), or size to obtain gauge

Gauge: 5 repeats/34 rows per 4” in blocked pattern, knit in the round, measured on round 5. This pattern is difficult to measure gauge for in pattern. Use blocked stockinette, 24 stitches and 32 rows/4 inches, knit in the round.
