Two versions of the pattern are provided: one in UK terms and one in US terms.

This pattern will create a small angel. There are two main angels described. One is plain and has no arms the other is multi-coloured with arms and fancy wings. However you could give the plain angel arms or the coloured angel can have plain wings or as you wish.

The pattern is designed for DK/Light worsted yarn but could be made in slightly thinner or thicker yarn. In DK yarn the angel is about 9cm high (bit less than 4 inches) and about 6cm wide at the base.

I used a 3.5mm hook but crochet quite tightly, you may need a smaller hook but gauge is not critical.

Both angels use about 30-40 metres of basic yarn. If adding colour small amounts for flesh and hair will be needed and small amount of sparkly yarn for the fancy wings and or halo.
