Two to Tango

Two to Tango is a simple to knit scarf or shawl that achieves its interesting textural design through the use of stripes, seed stitch, and brioche. It is knit sideways on the bias, asymmetrical, and reversible. It is really effective at showcasing either a darker and a lighter yarn or 2 coordinating shades, and is easily adaptable to whatever type of yarn or yarn weight you have on hand as well as how much of it you have. I knit mine in worsted weight and used two 200-yard hanks with one in white and one in blue. Mine ended up being a scarf and is 22 inches at its deepest point, and 34 inches long, but you can choose to make yours into a shawl and however deep and long you would like. The brioche border can also be made wider if you choose. The seed stitch body is separated from the brioche border by several rows of alternating stockinette stitch. Written instructions and video help link for the brioche section are included in the pattern.
