This design began as a custom-design request. Apparently, this design existed at one time (30 or 40 years ago), but could not be found anywhere online, so I have done my best to recreate something similar.

Worked in 2 colors, you may use yarn and hook of choice. Sample swatch was stitched using a DK weight yarn and crochet hook size H (5.0 mm). You might try a medium worsted weight yarn and a K (6.5 mm) hook or similar also.

No yardage estimates are provided since this is simply a customizable stitch pattern. The blanket may be made to any desired length and width.
