Crochet placemats are a quick project idea that can add a beautiful handmade touch to your table setting. This design uses Dishie cotton yarn and your favourite 4mm hook. The extended single crochet stitch allows the project to work up quickly and simply. Materials Needed:

• Approximately 213 yards of worsted weight cotton yarn. I used Dishie Cotton in “Swan” and “Ash”. Approximately 32 yards for Colour A. Approximately 181 yards for Colour B (for one placemat)
• 4mm crochet hook
• Yarn needle
• Scissors
• Measuring tape
