This cabled hat features left and right cables with a background of reverse-stockinette. The Two Tone Cable Hat is a great project for knitters who are new to cables, as it features both left leaning and right leaning cables and a color change, as well as a quick project for seasoned cable knitters.

This hat is worked evenly until the end, where it is decreased sharply to preserve the look of the cables. Despite the quick decreases at the end, the top of the hat still sports a rounded look when worn, rather than coming to a point.

The sample is made using about 50 grams of Cascade 220 in Burgundy and in Taupe.
